ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs a part of the sales team for Jim Stewart State Farm Agency, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. We are seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to be a part of our sales goal-oriented team.About Me and My AgencyOur agency has over 100 years of combined experience for you to pull from for each level of your insurance needs. We proudly serve the beautiful state of South Carolina. My team and I are truly passionate about helping individuals, families and businesses choose coverage that aligns both with their goals and budget. Our agents forward focused on the changing challenges of today, tomorrow and your future. I really enjoy my children and grandchildren, we like to golf together, play tennis together, walk/run in different sponsored events, recently we have picked up a bit of pickle ball. When not in the office you can find my team boating, riding Harleys, enjoying their children and grandchildren, baking, trail walks with their pets, watching their kids in sporting and cheer events, relay race swimming, different art events in our area, and basically enjoying all the great opportunities South Carolina offers with the wonderful weather and outside activities our state has to offer. We all need the same advice we give daily, so helping is built into our daily lives. QUALIFICATIONS Property and Casualty along with Life, Accident and Health Licenses REQUIRED for the State of South Carolina before applying
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Detail oriented along with self-motivated
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Ability to make presentations to potential customer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stay current with market trends and product offerings.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Work with agent and management to establish and meet your sales goals.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and service.
- Assist customers with retirement planning, investment management, and insurance needs.
- Keep your task, reviews, and sales goals current, work your leads in a proficient and professional manner.
This is a remote position.
Compensation $45,000.00 - $77,800.00 per year
